We keep urgent slots free every weekday morning, so we can see you quickly. Here is what to do and what to tell us.
Get seen quickly
- Request an urgent visit. Choose "Toothache or broken tooth" and we show the earliest urgent times first.
- Or call the clinic. Tell us what has happened and we will find you a time.
- Come in. Your dentist looks, tells you what they see and agrees the next step with you.

When to go to emergency services instead
If it feels like a life-threatening emergency, contact your local emergency services straight away. This includes trouble breathing or swallowing, swelling that is spreading to your face or neck, bleeding that will not stop, or a serious injury to the head or face.

What to tell us
- Where it hurts or what has broken, if you know.
- When it started.
- Whether you can come this morning.
- Anything that would make the visit easier for you.
What to bring
- ID, and a list of any medicines you take.
- Any piece of a broken tooth or filling, kept safe in a clean container.
While you wait
- Rinse gently with lukewarm water.
- Take care with very hot, cold or hard food on that side.
- If a tooth has been knocked out, hold it by the top (not the root) and tell us straight away.
